First thing to consider, how precious is you time? If you are going to take your iPhone, Samsung, Huawei Phone to a Mobile Phone Repairs Shop, you are going to need the time to take it to the shop & the time to have it repaired. Most repairs take about an hour, so you will either need to leave you device there or you will need to hang about for an hour whilst the iTech repairs your phone. All in, you will be in for the best part of 2 – 3 hours.
Local Mobile Phone Repairs Shop or National Business?
Currently there are 2 National Mobile Phone Repairs Companies, iMend and iSmash. They are fundamentally different. iMend is essentially a marketing company, that has contracts with independent iTechs through out the country. iMend contractors come to you. iMend has several iTechs in Bristol, but at this time none in Brislington or Keynsham. I was a contractor repairing phones for iMend, I was not well treated at all. iMend do not have iMend Bristol, iMend Bath or iMend Portishead mobile phone repairs shops. They operate from a call centre. iSmash on the other hand open their shops in key locations. iSmash Bristol is in the centre of Bristol. Currently there are no iSmash Bath or iSmash Portishead shops. Considering iSmash only has one shop in Bristol, your options are either “We come to you” or you use a local shop.We Come To You
What if you could just carry on with your day and have the phone repaired whilst you are fetching the kids from school or having a meeting with a client. For those people who lead particularly busy lives, the convenience of having an iTech come out to their home or work will realistically save them 2 – 3 hours. We only charge a callout fee of £15 for Mobile – Mobile Phone Repairs.
