Out of these six, blue is the most appealing and decent colour. It shows a slightly lighter shade than iPhone 13 which gives it a more premium and smart look.
Purple was a new addition in Apple’s lineup in 2022 as it replaced the pink colour, which previously came with iPhone 13. Similarly, the yellow colour was introduced after replacing the green. According to some, it was the least appealing faint colour.
If we talk about its finishing, it is good and highly durable, which makes it charming even in 2025.
The one discouraging element in its design is that it is not upgraded. Apple launched it almost identical to its outdated model iPhone 13.
How Durable iPhone 14?
There is no significant change in iPhone 14 durability from its predecessor iPhone 13. Both are protected with a ceramic shield and aerospace grade aluminium frame.
Similarly, iPhone 14 features an IP68 rating that enhances its durability in dust and water.
Apple claims that it can survive for 30 minutes in fresh water at a depth of 6 metres. The notable thing is that IP68 protects the device only in fresh water. There is no guarantee of muddy, impure and salty water.

iPhone 14 gives you a 6.1 inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with 2532 * 1170 pixels resolution. There is no upgrade from the previous model, as the 60Hz refresh rate is not enough for a smooth result.
Drawback
- iPhone 14 has the same display as its predecessor, iPhone 13.
Battery Life
iPhone 14 has a battery capacity of 3279mAh, while iPhone 13 comes with 3227mAh. According to Apple’s claim, it can last for up to 20 hours, but in the real world, it cannot justify the claim.
My personal experience with the iPhone 14 battery life also disagreed with Apple’s claim. My iPhone 14 lasted for up to 14 hours on screen time. While during video playback, it could survive only for 8 to 10 hours.
