No Fix No Fee?
We would love to be able to fix every device and would love to be able to give you your device back working as it should be. Some devices are just beyond repair or need to be taken to a Micro-Soldering Specialist. Our expertise has taken years to acquire, so we charge £20 for any device which we are not able to repair. This by no means covers our costs, as we sometimes spend in excess of an hour or two working through different options to get your device working again. In the event that you have called us out to your location, we will only charge you the call out fee plus £10. If we are unable to repair your device, we may still be able to help get your device fixed and may even be able to get your data recovered. We have teamed up with a specialist “Micro-Soldering Board Level Repair Company” here in Bristol specifically to ensure we get your device fixed in almost all cases.

Huawei Honor 10 Lite Known Issues
It dies mid-use and won’t show a charging light
Someone’s sitting in an online class, the screen goes black, and the phone switches itself off. Plug the charger in — nothing. No LED, no charging animation, no sign of life at all. That’s the exact pattern reported on the Honor 10 Lite, and it wasn’t just the one owner: others turned up on the same thread describing the identical symptom, with no fix between them. Here’s the part that matters for anyone hoping this is a quick job. The only serious suggestion that came back was reflashing the board’s own software with the back cover off — not swapping a battery, not replacing a charging port. That points at the phone failing before it ever gets as far as negotiating a charge, which puts it at mainboard level, and a battery job that turns into a mainboard job is a completely different piece of work. A fully flat battery looks the same from the outside, so that’s worth ruling out first. But if the phone stays silent on a known-good cable and charger, don’t assume the cheap fix.
The HRY-LX2 variant is fussy about which networks it will join
Honor sold the 10 Lite in more than one regional variant, and the radio hardware isn’t identical across all of them. One documented case: an HRY-LX2 that connects and works perfectly well on GSM, and simply will not join a CDMA network. The owner went hunting for a way to force it and came up with nothing — because there’s no settings toggle, no dialler code and no firmware flash that bolts a radio standard onto hardware that never supported it. Worth knowing on a used or imported handset. A phone showing no service on one network while working fine on another isn’t automatically a fault, so check the model number on the back or in the settings menu before anyone starts pulling antenna cables or condemning a board. Real hardware faults cause signal problems on this phone too — but a variant mismatch costs nothing to rule out, and a repair doesn’t.

The Huawei Honor 10 Lite has a 6.21″ IPS LCD display at 2340 x 1080 resolution, running on Huawei’s own Kirin 710 chipset with 3GB or 6GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB storage.
The rear camera is a dual setup — a 13MP main sensor (f/1.8) paired with a 2MP depth-sensing camera for portrait-mode background blur. The front camera is 24MP.
