No Fix No Fee?
We would love to be able to fix every device and would love to be able to give you your device back working as it should be. Some devices are just beyond repair or need to be taken to a Micro-Soldering Specialist. Our expertise has taken years to acquire, so we charge £20 for any device which we are not able to repair. This by no means covers our costs, as we sometimes spend in excess of an hour or two working through different options to get your device working again. In the event that you have called us out to your location, we will only charge you the call out fee plus £10. If we are unable to repair your device, we may still be able to help get your device fixed and may even be able to get your data recovered. We have teamed up with a specialist “Micro-Soldering Board Level Repair Company” here in Bristol specifically to ensure we get your device fixed in almost all cases.

Huawei P10 Known Issues
In-call audio sounds muffled or full of static to the other person
So the phone rings, you answer, and the caller tells you you’re breaking up — static, muffled, hard to follow. Switch to speakerphone and suddenly you’re perfectly clear. That’s the tell, because speaker mode uses a different microphone. The fault is almost always the lower mic down by the charging port: packed with pocket lint, or simply worn out. It’s not the most common P10 complaint, but it turns up on handsets that have spent years in a pocket. Cleaning first, mic replacement second.
Rear colour camera goes blurry while the monochrome sensor stays sharp
Here’s a strange one. Owners report colour shots turning soft and blurry more or less overnight, while monochrome mode — which uses the second sensor — carries on producing perfectly sharp images. No scratch on the glass, no muck on the lens. What makes this worth flagging is what doesn’t fix it: more than one owner fitted a replacement camera module, one of them went through two, and the blur was still there afterwards. Clearing the camera cache and resetting the phone didn’t help either. So this is a diagnose-first job, not an automatic module swap.
Keyboard drops keypresses at the very edge of the screen
This one is specific and genuinely odd. Keys sitting hard against the edge of the keyboard — the letter “a” most often — simply don’t register, intermittently, while everything else types fine. It’s been reported on SwiftKey and on Gboard, so it isn’t one app’s bug, and on stock, unrooted P10s (VTR-L09 and VTR-L29 both). A tight case or a screen protector overlapping the edge of the glass makes it worse, so strip those off first. Past that it behaves like a touch-layer calibration problem at the panel edge rather than damage — one owner lost it entirely after flashing a different ROM.

Huawei P10 Specifications
The Huawei P10 has a 5.1″ display at 1080 x 1920 resolution (432 ppi) with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, running on Huawei’s own Kirin 960 chipset with 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage.
The rear camera is Huawei’s dual Leica setup — a 12MP colour sensor (f/2.2, OIS) paired with a 20MP monochrome sensor. The front camera is 8MP.
Battery capacity is 3200mAh, non-removable.
